LOCAL BUSES
倉吉市内線・パークスクエア線など
Frequent buses serve the Shirakabe Storehouses, Tottori Prefectural Museum of Art, Pear Museum and Enkei Gekijo. For the historic district, get off at Akagawara/Shirakabe Storehouses in about 12 minutes, or City Hall/Utsubuki Park Entrance in about 17 minutes.
三朝線・三徳山線
Buses run to Misasa Onsen and Misasa Town. Only selected trips continue towards Mt. Mitoku, and some outer sections use demand operation, so check the exact trip before leaving.
橋津線・松崎北方線
Use the Hashizu route via Hawai Onsen for the lakeside resort. For Togo Onsen and the Chinese Garden Enchoen area, check buses serving Matsuzaki Station and Yurihama.
関金線
Take a bus for Sekigane Bus Center, Myoko or Ogawara and get off at Sekigane Onsen. The former Kurayoshi railway trace area is farther away, so check onward access separately.
赤碕線・北条線など
Local buses and the JR San-in Line both serve the Kurayoshi–Yura area, so compare both timetables. The Akasaki route stops at Akagawara/Shirakabe Storehouses, and selected trips continue to the Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory, making it possible to travel there from the historic district. Local buses leave from platform 2 or 4; selected airport buses from platform 6 also serve the museum.
赤碕線
The Akasaki route links Kurayoshi with Kotoura. Services are less frequent than city buses, so check the return trip before setting out.
COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
三朝町営みささサンサンバス
This municipal bus operates entirely within Misasa. Transfer at Misasa Town Hall for buses to Kurayoshi. Some sections require a telephone booking, while the Tokumoto route operates on weekday mornings.
船上山線・上中村線・野井倉線
Town buses connect Urayasu and Akasaki stations with inland communities and the Mt. Senjo area. Routes, operating days and connection points differ, so check the current town timetable.
予約型関金乗合タクシー
A reservation-based shared taxi for travel within Sekigane. It does not run to Kurayoshi Station; transfer to the Sekigane local bus for Kurayoshi. Book from 14 days until one hour before travel.
北栄町乗りあいタクシー
A telephone-reservation shared taxi serving designated routes and stops in Hokuei. Confirm the current timetable, fare and eligibility before using it.
SIGHTSEEING MOBILITY
グリーンスローモビリティ「うつぶき周遊ルート」
Travelling at under 20 km/h, this seven-seat electric vehicle links sightseeing car parks, the Shirakabe Storehouses, Utsubuki Park, Kurayoshi Line Railway Memorial Museum and Enkei Gekijo. It does not depart from Kurayoshi Station; take a local bus to the historic district first. Pay cash when boarding.
AIRPORT CONNECTIONS
倉吉・青山剛昌ふるさと館 ⇄ 鳥取砂丘コナン空港
The flight-linked bus normally runs five trips each way via Matsuzaki Station, with selected trips serving the Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory. Kurayoshi Station to the airport takes about 50 minutes and costs ¥1,500. Pay cash when leaving; transport IC cards are not accepted. The earliest Kurayoshi departure requires booking by 20:00 the previous day.
INTERCITY TRAVEL
倉吉駅 ⇄ 神戸三宮・新大阪・なんばOCAT
Daytime services from Kurayoshi connect with Kobe-Sannomiya, Shin-Osaka, Namba/OCAT and Osaka Bentencho. Some trips run only on weekends, holidays or peak dates, so check the booking calendar.
倉吉駅 ⇄ 岡山駅西口
A reserved daytime bus runs daily via Sekigane, Hiruzen and Yubara. An additional trip via Misasa operates on weekends, public holidays and specified peak periods.
倉吉駅 ⇄ 広島バスセンター
One reserved daytime round trip currently runs every day between Kurayoshi and Hiroshima. One additional trip in each direction shown in the official timetable remains suspended.
