Nishi-Akashi and Kakogawa are served by only some trains. Takeda is also a limited stop. Seasonal trains and temporary stops may differ, so check the official timetable for your train.

The train reverses direction at Himeji

The front and rear of the train change at Himeji. Follow the platform car-position display rather than assuming the same direction continues.

Car 1 is the Himeji-end driving car. It has ordinary reserved seats and no toilet.

Car 2 is the middle car and has a toilet and washroom.

Car 3 has wheelchair-accessible seating, an accessible toilet and a multipurpose room.

Two three-car sets may be coupled on busy days. Check the platform display because the boarding position and car number will differ from the basic formation.
